MADRID (AFP) - A Spanish court on Wednesday (April 24) acquitted former Barcelona club president Sandro Rosell, who spent approximately two years in pre-trial custody, of child maintenance laundering.Rosell, his wife and four others, were accused of "large-scale child maintenance laundering" of close to 20 million (S$30.5 million) in the past 2006, relating to television rights and backing deals in Brazil.The National Court, which handles major criminal cases, said it had acquitted every six accused because "after evaluating the evidence presented during the trial, the accusations were not proven".
